He's Still There

I did a post about his fellow who sits at a picnic table at Steel Indian School Park around 10 years ago.  You can see it here.  I recently saw that he was still there and still looking over his shoulder.

He's actually checking to make sure no one sees him peeking at the other guy's cards.  This is a sculpture called "Setting Up the Competition" by J. Seward Johnson Jr.

His dishonesty is there for everyone to see but he's yet to be held to account.

Reminds me of a few political figures that won't be mentioned.

He appears lonely somehow.

10 years is a long time to be sitting there and not winning.

Nice that it is still there and looks to be in good condition, Sharon.

If you are ever in New Jersey make plans to visit GROUNDS FOR SCULPTURE. It was started by Seward Johnson and contains many of his art works that are wonderful. Sculptures of famous paintings.

And yet it must be exhausting to have to look over one's shoulder all the time. Honesty would be so much easier.
