Warm Waterlily

I don't see waterlilies in Arizona because it's just too hot here.  However, I did see this one located in a small man-made pool at a nursery a few weeks ago.

I loved seeing these but I'm thinking they won't be lasting much longer.  Our temperatures have started their extreme measures in the past few days.  We are projected to exceed 110 degrees this weekend.  Did I miss spring?

  1. Stay safe and enjoy them while you can. 110 degrees seems to be extremely hot.

  2. I wonder if it would work if you chilled the water in the pond?

  3. Beautiful, Sharon. 110˚F is way too hot. Our climate is such a mess.

  5. I haven't seen waterlilies in a long time. There are a few places on our river walk but I don't recall seeing any. I'll have to look and see the next time I go there.

  8. Glad you got to enjoy these lilies while they lasted! (They ARE a bit out of their natural habitat, I'm guessing!)
