I think I mentioned before that this Chihuly sculpture was located in a spot that made it difficult to photograph. In the mornings when I'm more likely to be at the garden, it was backlit by the sun causing deep shadows.
If I photograph it from the other side, the light on it is good but it tends to melt into the trees in the background.
I'm glad I got some night time photos of it. That seemed to be the only way to enjoy the pretty colors of this sculpture.
This one was called the Aqua Blue & Amber Chandelier.
I like all three views.
ReplyDeleteFrom one angle, looks almost like a part of the trees
ReplyDeleteWow... it is so good looking at night. Nice shot.
ReplyDeleteThat night shot is a good one.
ReplyDeleteYou're right - it needs a dark background. The night shot is great.
ReplyDeleteIt really stands out at night! Great photo.
ReplyDeleteThe night shot takes the prize!
ReplyDeleteOne of my very favorite artists.
ReplyDeleteGosh what a difference. It is so close to the colors of the trees in the daytime, but pops at night!
ReplyDeleteIt is fascinating.
