These Desert Spiny Lizards are a very cooperative bunch. When I encounter one, usually at the Desert Botanical Garden, they sit quietly while I take a few photos. They almost appear to be posing.
When I spotted this one, he was lounging on top of a stone bench. He might have frightened someone taking a rest on that bench if they didn't see him when they sat down.
Strike a pose! Love it.

ReplyDeleteHe would frighten me for sure. Went out on what I call my morning porch and looked under the cushion to make sure there wasn’t a spider and a big lizard looked up at me like what do you want?. I went back in the house.
