Cape Aloe
I mentioned yesterday that some of the aloe plants were blooming when I went for a walk at the Desert Botanical Garden. My favorite of all the different aloe plants is the Cape Aloe. It has luscious, tall orange/yellow blooms.
They look so exotic and maybe a bit alien. The blooms last many days so they can be enjoyed for quite a while.
I have a new post on Sharon's Sojourns today. I'm visiting a high-in-the-sky nightclub in New York.
Wow! I have never seen one of these bloom. We are hoping to get out to Green Valley to visit friends next month.I hope some of these unusual plants will still be blooming.
I wonder if my little plant will look like that when it finally grows up. :-)

ReplyDeleteI really like them, kind of like alien plants, I have some growing under the eaves in the front garden where it's dry.
