Shades of Yellow & Orange

 


Another room of the indoor Chihuly Exhibit featured this vision in yellow and orange. 

The way these pieces are displayed against a mirrored background makes them doubly beautiful.

















Inside the large pieces were a selection of smaller pieces in all kinds of patterns.

Such beautiful baubles!

    These have always been my favourite kind of the Chihuly designs. My partner had done a week long glassblowing workshop with him many years ago when he was still blowing glass and I spent a few days there too and he was such a nice guy. I always wish I had bought one of pieces back then before he became so famous.
