I found this mural on a wall along 7th Avenue near downtown Phoenix. It serves as a sort of welcome to downtown Phoenix. (It's a shame that someone put a tag in the middle of the Phoenix bird.)
It was painted by an artist named Jesse Perry and once I found that out, I learned that Perry also painted one I posted three years ago, a portrait of Salvador Dali. When I posted that, I found a signature of just "Perry" so I didn't have any luck finding the artist. I had much better luck with this one.
Taking part in Monday Murals.

This one is real nice. I wish we had murals like that here.
It is nice done, I like mister "Perry".
Neat, and it has a sun bunny.
Well done.
It is a fun welcome to downtown, Sharon!
Certainly reassures you that you have indeed found downtown!
It looks good there.
Gosh Sharon, had you not called attention to the tag, I would have "assumed" it was part of the mural. It is a fabulous representation of your town, dear.
What a beautiful mural to welcome people to the downtown area. Perry is very talented.
Good sense of community
A nice welcoming mural to "downtown" Phoenix.
I wouldn't have noticed the tag had you not mentioned, thought it was part of the mural.
Thanks for participating in Monday Murals Sharon.
Nice! I'm not sure I'd have even noticed that tag, to be honest. It looks like a decoration on the bird's breast!
