I went for a walk at the Desert Botanical Garden yesterday and saw lots of Chihuly glass being installed. I mentioned at the beginning of October that a Chihuly Garden & Glass exhibit was returning to the garden. The exhibit doesn't officially open until December 3rd but it takes weeks for the sculptures to be installed so the crew was busy at work when I was there.
My walk was shorter than usual because a few trails were closed so the work could be done. I'll have to go again to watch the exhibit grow.
I'm getting very excited to see it when it's done.

Looks great already.
Wonderful!
I’ve seen his work at the University of Wisconsin, and would would to see this!
The transportation of these pieces is what astounds me even though I know that each individual piece of glass is packed separately.
I think the boat was in Seattle a couple of years ago. Amazing
It looks amazing now and just wait until it's installed.
These are marvelous.
What a zany collection.
How cool that you got a sneak preview!
