The Building with the Crown on Top

I've featured photos of the Phoenix City Hall building a few times in the past.  One is here.  I recently got this sunset photo of the very top of the building.  I love the way the sun makes the color of the building look a darker tan than it really is.

This giant star is located right over one of the main entrances to the building.

The star reminds me of the MC 1950s/1960s clocks, same sort of style.

It all seems to fit a desert location! Nice ones, Sharon.

That is a nice sunset color -- the "golden hour," as they call it!

I remember the town hall Sharon. I wonder when it was built, I feel it has an Art Deco feel, what do you think?
