The color of walls behind works of art, plants or just about anything makes such an impact on the item you are photographing.
The yellow wall behind the sculpture "Sea Weed People" by John Hoover adds to the cool, calm and graceful nature of the sculpture.
In contrast, the yellow wall behind this agave adds warmth to this photo of the plant and its reflection.
Both of these photos were taken at the Heard Museum. Tomorrow I'll show you another color contrast that is also from the Heard Museum.
I like all three photos.
