What used to be the only pool at The Arizona Biltmore has now been designated the "family pool" area. That huge water slide is the biggest change in this area. This pool used to be divided into two sections with a lovely waterfall between the two.
With all these changes, it appears to me that the hotel is starting to market to a younger crowd. There were certainly a lot more kids around than I've ever seen before.
To one side of the pool area was this fountain designed for splashing. The water spouts all had colored lights on them and three fake saguaro cactus stand in the center. There are no thorns on those fake cactus so it's perfectly safe for the little kids to play.
Impressive pool and surroundings.
ReplyDeleteQuite a setting.
ReplyDeleteThe waterslide brings back sweet memories of going down the slide with my kids. They were fun.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like they are really going for the family business, Sharon!
ReplyDeleteThose cactus look quite real :) The pool looks great, but that slide must be scary (for me at least, lol)
ReplyDeleteУдобно и красиво! Замечательный бассейн!
ReplyDeleteI think you are right Sharon, definitely marketing towards young families now, the slide would be so much fun for youngsters.. and the young at heart 😉
ReplyDeleteVery impressive especially the huge water slide.
ReplyDeleteWow! What an awesome slide. Now if you can just keep that water coming.
ReplyDeleteThe water slide is a bit much. Cactus are absolutely everywhere there, even poolside!
ReplyDeleteI miss going to the pool!!
ReplyDeleteThose saguaros look surprisingly authentic, except for the fact that they're thornless and standing in water. :)
ReplyDeleteI thought those cacti were real for a minute lol
ReplyDeleteI haven't been to the Biltmore in many years. I love the fake cacti and the water spouts.
