It's been a very, very busy weekend and it's not over yet. I'll tell you all about it next week. Needless to say, I've got lots of photos that need editing. It's great to have new material for a change.
I saw this Argentinian Giant cactus with these huge blooms on it yesterday and had to stop for a photo.
Actually, I stopped for two photos as you can see. Such gorgeous blooms and luckily I caught them early in the morning. This is a night blooming cactus so by the afternoon they will have started to wilt.
I have a new post on Sharon's Sojourns today. I'm looking at the sights in a Tucson historic neighborhood.

Wow, gorgeous!
Thank you. The cactus flowers are a real treat for a northern like me to see.
I don't think I've ever seen such huge cactus blossoms! It's really stunning. Glad you could capture them.
Spectacular, love cactus blooms
They are beautiful flowers, Sharon!
Very pretty blooms indeed.
They are absolutely beautiful.
Beautiful blooms!
Stunning!
So exotic--well, at least for those of us here in the East. :-)
I remember my Phoenix neighbor, a pretty good amateur photographer, setting up a black cloth and floodlights on his night blooming cereus the night it burst into bloom. He invited me to come over and take pictures, too. Wonder whatever happened to them.
I have some of these plants on a windowsill in my kitchen, we are huge cacti fans.
