Garden Sightings

There were lots of things to see at the garden last Sunday morning.  I saw several humming birds.  This one was taking a bath.

This one was busy looking for tasty treats inside the blooms.

Out on the long trail, the corn crop was way past its prime.  It still looked pretty spilling out from behind that rustic fence.

On the other side of the dried corn stalks were several California sunflower plants showing off some very bright and cheerful blooms.

I see blogger isn't done yet.  Just when I was getting used to things, they moved them around again.  And text alignment seems to be hit or miss.

  1. The hummingbirds are so sweet Sharon, I haven't ever seen one for real, you captured two beauties here. Sunflowers are always a joy to see 🌻I feel the new blogger is going to test our patience 😉

  2. Sharon I like how you captured the the little bird taking a bath.

I stayed with the old blogger as long as I could. Now I am stuck with the new one and still trying to get used the change. Their help list isn't much help at all. I guess the best thing is that blogger is still free.

  3. The hummingbird taking a bath is wonderful!
I'm still able to switch back to Legacy Blogger and I keep my fingers crossed each day that it is still an option. I have posted ahead for 5 days just in case I run into problems at the switch when it happens.

  6. I noticed that with Blogger too -- the tool to re-size photos has a different symbol. Seriously, did they roll this out prematurely, or what?!

Love the hummingbird taking a bath. I don't think I've ever seen that before. I believe that flower is what we in the UK would call a rudbeckia? Looks very similar, anyway.
