A window has been boarded up and the plants have nearly grown over the doorway. And, the address number is looking a little tipsy.
This street is right off of Central Avenue in the middle of the midtown commercial district. I'm starting to wonder if some type of development changes might be happening here.
I like you quote about the "tipsy" number :)
ReplyDeleteTangled comes to mind.
ReplyDeleteOh dear, definitely seen better days Sharon 😊
ReplyDeleteBuildings don't seem to last long when there is no business there. Maybe, like you say, there is possibly some development changes coming.
ReplyDeleteKinda looks like #10 Stonehenge. :-)
ReplyDeleteWe may see a lot of that in the days ahead!
ReplyDeleteI like the wonky number 10. The top photo looks like something Stephen Shore would have taken for "Uncommon Places," one of his traveling-around-America photo series.
ReplyDeleteLooks like it needs a little love, or a large bulldozer
ReplyDeleteIt looks forlorn, with it's "tipsy" address number.
ReplyDeleteLooking very sad indeed.
ReplyDeletePat may be right: we may be seeing more of that in the days ahead. Nature sure seems ready to reclaim.
