Changing Scenery....Again
I met my friend Glenda yesterday for another change of scenery walk. This time we opted for the paths next to the canal in Scottsdale in the area known as the Scottsdale Waterfront. It was a beautiful, clear morning making the look of those expensive condo buildings along the canal look very pretty against the blue sky.
What a gorgeous shade of blue! We saw lots of people with the same idea but we were able to keep our distance from all of them. I'm not sure where we will walk next week. The temperatures are headed into the 100's (38+ C) by tomorrow. That is about 14 degrees warmer than normal for this time of year. Fingers crossed that normal temps will come back before our summer heat sets in.
The blue skies always make me feel good. Beat the heat... stay in an air conditioned indoor location as much as you can.
ReplyDeleteGreat sky indeed, keep walking :)
ReplyDeleteYou got out early to beat the heat and avoid people - smart! I do hope things cool off for you, Sharon. We are cooler here than normal for this time of year.
ReplyDeleteWspaniałe niebo , błękitne i spokojne.
ReplyDeleteGetting out early in the day it's usually cooler. I can't imagine being out in that kind of heat. Nice blue sky, we had a few of those lately and it's nice.
ReplyDeleteYikes! Too much heat, too soon! Still, I'm glad you got out for another change of scenery.
ReplyDeleteScottsdale waterfront is something of an oxymoron but I know it's there. Can't believe the temps.
ReplyDeleteRight now getting out and about is a blessing
ReplyDeleteOh, those blue skies...but I'll pass on the scorching heat. Looks like a great walk, though.
ReplyDeleteThat is quite an increase in temperature
ReplyDeleteIt's just too hot for me to try walking outside here. I go for a few minutes to our rooftop, but that's about as long as I can take. This looks like it will be my very first summer ever spent here in Arabia.
