After last night's rain, we had nothing but blue skies and perfect weather on Thursday. And that was a good thing because we had our holiday party for work yesterday. It was at the home of our boss who had this wonderful grapefruit tree just bursting with fruit. But, that wasn't all. There was an orange tree, an apricot tree, a fig tree and lots more smaller plants. She certainly has the magic "green thumb" touch! It was a simply perfect afternoon to be out doors eating and visiting.
That cheers me up to see, here only grey skies and rains.....:(

ReplyDeleteLooks like the growing season has been a success.
She certainly has the magic touch Sharon. I'm pretty good with flowers, so far just mangoes and blueberries fruitwise ✨
ReplyDeleteThat is amazing to see on a snowy Friday here, Sharon!
ReplyDeleteThat's a beautiful grapefruit tree. It makes me homesick for Florida!
ReplyDeleteWe had lemons this year for the first time. We're pretty excited about that, having never had fruit trees before.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a good crop season for grapefruits.
ReplyDeleteA bumper crop of juicy grapefruit.
ReplyDeleteI've never had grapefruit.
ReplyDeleteHere we have snow, off and on.
Grey skies here and highs in the 50's. Wish I was in Phoenix.
