This is a good spot to get a wide view over the city. The Camelback Corridor high-rises are to the left and in the distance you can see the high-rises in downtown phoenix.
In the other direction I had a perfect view of Camelback Mountain. The glow of the setting sun was emphasizing the red in the mountain. Tomorrow I'll show you where I was.
I have a new post on
Sharon's Sojourns today. I'm visiting a historic observatory.
Incredible viewpoint here Sharon, Camelback mountain is spectacular 💛
ReplyDeleteThat mountain is amazing. I would be up and exploring it, such a contrast to the opposite view.
ReplyDeleteThat mountain looks wonderful with the red light!
ReplyDeleteSo nice! I went up and down this Camelback Mountain so many times...
ReplyDeleteI don't think I have such a nice picture of Camelback...
ReplyDeleteThat mountain is spectacular!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful view of the mountain, it looks magnificent.
ReplyDeleteI love the glow on the mountain, Sharon!
ReplyDeleteWonderful, wonderful light.
ReplyDeleteI never climbed Camelback. Oh, I went a ways up Echo Canyon and I have climbed to the top of Squaw Peak (Piestewa, I guess it's called now) but skipped Camelback.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a beautiful clear day!
