Yesterday I mentioned how many of the homes in the Biltmore Estates have been torn down and replaced by new and very large mansions. This is an example of what I meant.
This one I like because at least it looks old. Of course I also like almost anything in a Tudor style.
This one is extra large but it's too stark looking for my taste. I feel like it looks more like an office building than a home.
Oh yes I prefer yesterday's homes so much more,but at the same time it's the differences that make life interesting 😉 Happy weekend Sharon.

ReplyDeleteThis is such an unfortunate trend. You wonder how much space people actually need and how much energy has to be used to heat and or cool these places!
ReplyDeleteThe last one looks completely out of place for Arizona. I often wonder why people need such big houses. I guess they want us to know they're rich.

ReplyDeleteThe last one lacks any sort of personality just a big blob. The other two at least have gardens and are both quite unique.
