I drove on a street in my area that I had never explored before and I found this house with a lot of art in the yard. I'm not sure if the large urn in the top photo is actually art but, it looked nice in its location. The statue to the left was facing the front of the house so I could only photograph it from the side. It certainly has a striking Asian influence to it.
On a wall near the garage, I saw these three abstract figures. Seeing all this art outside the house made me wonder what pretty things might be found inside.
It is art I feel, the theme is very peaceful and everything placed with a purpose it seems. I always say that our gardens have the ability for many outdoor rooms if we are able to get a vision of what we want to achieve.
ReplyDeleteThe shadows work so well in your photos, absolutely love them all Sharon.
Taking the time to explore can give us the most surprising things.
ReplyDeleteThat urn sure looks like a work of art to me, especially as it offsets some of the building's more austere lines.
ReplyDeleteI think you would have a great time exploring the inside of that place, Sharon!
ReplyDeleteInteresting that the statue faces the house. Seems like it should face outward!
