I mentioned yesterday that I went over to my old neighborhood last weekend to photograph the African daisies. While I was there, I noticed something interesting at the home of the people who always have the elaborate Halloween decorations. (You can see a sample here.)
Apparently, they are getting ready for a Mardi Gras party and they have covered the tree in front of their house with those colorful Mardi Gras beads.
There were beads everywhere reachable on that tree!

That is so nice to see. When I was in the South I saw some left hanging in the trees.
