Along a section of 16th Street in Phoenix is a variety of murals painted by a selection of artists with roots in Mexico or Central America. The murals are part of a project called "Calle 16", a project that is designed to bring the neighborhood (or barrio) closer together. This particular mural is called Bienvenidos a Arizona and it was painted by Gennaro Garcia and an artist called DOSE. The artist Garcia grew up in Mexico and now lives in Phoenix. He is known for his ceramics.
