I found these interesting creations at the Scottsdale Civic Center Park recently. They were sponsored by Scottsdale Public Arts and created to be interactive. People can sit on them or in them depending which shape you choose and spin around like a top!
They were created by two artists, Hector Esrawe and Ignacio Cadena.
Since they are interactive, they do have a set of rules to go with them. How fun!
I would get dizzy when I turned around with all those colours. But it is pretty to look at.
ReplyDeletethe 'tea cups' at Disneyland were always one of my favorite rides. No way I could even look at them now, with all my equilibrium issues. Very pretty though!
ReplyDeleteVery colourful!
ReplyDeleteThey remind me of those steel things that used to be in our playgrounds. You would get them going really fast and try not to fly off!
ReplyDeleteI'm dizzy enough without doing that but I can see where they would be fun for some.
ReplyDeleteThey remind me of the teacups at Disney World (which also spin)!
ReplyDeleteVery colourful and unique. I don't think I would want to spin around and around but would gladly watch and take some action photos. :)
ReplyDeleteThat is soooo cool!
ReplyDeleteAnd beautiful. And original!
That set of rules had me spinning Sharon 😀 Looks like fun, I bet they were popular!
ReplyDeleteSo many colors in your posts; it's uplifting.
