I've tried unsuccessfully to find out who created this sculpture that sits on the corner of the Cityscape Center in downtown Phoenix. It's a big swirl of steel pipe. There is no artist name displayed by it and I've checked the City of Phoenix public arts website with no luck. So, I guess I can't give the artist credit for it.
I think it's kind of eye catching but, I bet not many people even notice it.

I like how you photography the mystery.
It appears to be a giant paper clip that's been pulled apart and that can't be put back together again. You have some interesting things in downtown Phoenix. I don't even remember downtown Phoenix. it seems to have had little to offer 60 years ago.
I really like it,, Sharon! It does remind me of a paper clip too. ;-)
It's true Sharon, because it's not a solid sculpture I bet people walk under and through without appreciating it, too busy on their phones ☺ Super shot, the eye misses nothing when you're a blogger 😀
What an interesting sculpture. I bet you are right about people not seeing it. Maybe the mystery will be solved eventually by your detective investigating skills. :)
Weird! I Googled around for an answer (as I'm sure you did too) but I came up empty.
It reminds me a bit of an infinity sculpture I`ve posted once or twice in an office building here, but this feels lighter.
Hmmmmmm.
