"It" began here several weeks ago. I don't much care, but think it's pretty stupid, as none of this has anything to do with the real meaning of Christmas as I understand it. Nice photos, though!
I didn't mind the mall decorations last weekend when I first saw them; it was within a week of black Friday, so it looked nice. Me, I avoid Black Friday stores; online shopping for me.
The malls will be crowded now till the end of the season. We don't have anything like that in Moville. The charity shop did celebrate Black Friday though, everything was €1.
I hope it IS hectic t the mall. Brick and mortar stores are struggling mightily. I have to confess that many of my own purchases are moving to the internet.
I was going to say, it's begun over here already! We don't shop on Black Friday either.
ReplyDeleteOh yes in the all’s & stores here, Christmas was well under way at the start of November!
ReplyDeleteBlack Friday madness is to be avoided!
I can see it fully decorated over the weekend. Such a beautiful time of year has started.

ReplyDeleteI started seeing these kinds of decorations before the end of October. We will be staying home today.
ReplyDeleteBlack Friday has carried over onto this side of the border too, even though our Thanksgiving was weeks ago.
