Mural with a Message
Two weekends ago, I went out looking for murals in an area of town where I knew there would be many. However, this one stopped me in my tracks. It's on the side of a thrift store that caters to an immigrant population. I translated what it says off to the left side. It reads "Damn the soldier who points his weapon against his people." It's sort of heart-wrenching, don't you think? It's also sort of ironic that looming above is the view of a billboard advertising a military recruitment program.

A frighting scene with a powerful message.
Wow! Definitely powerful.
Definitely filled with irony!!
A story that has been repeated many times.
I wonder who the artist is. It's very well done.
Definitely a powerful message.
Imressive. Definitively something to think about.
Powerful and provocative.
In a way the soldiers are damned if they do and damned if they don't. A powerful find here Sharon.
