A Witch's Brew

I discovered a most unusual decoration on a house.  If I had seen this back in October I might have thought it was just another Halloween decoration but finding it in mid-January makes it seem completely out of place.

The funny thing is, it looks like it's a permanent ornament on the side of this house located in a rather upscale neighborhood.

  1. There are, I've heard, good witches and bad witches. The problem is to determine which witch is which. This might be a good witch, brewing up potions to heal the sick and medicate the mean, in which case this is a good witch. And that possibility makes me twitch with joy.

  2. Maybe a witch lives there and wants to advertise it.

  4. Well I've seen many odd house ornamentations on my travels Sharon, but never a witch before ☺

  5. How completely weird. I suspect, as Judy says, the person living there claims witch powers -- but maybe he/she is just a fan of Macbeth?

  6. Everything else around the property seems in keeping with a usual suburban home so that this witch sign really stands out - spooky!
