Theme Day: Transitions

I had to think about this theme before I came up with the idea of using one of my favorite trees to photograph.  This tree is located in Steele Indian School Park and I've photographed it many times at different times of the year.  So I made a collage of the tree in different seasons.

The first one was taken in April when it was full with spring growth, the second in August in the middle of the summer, the third in December when it just started to lose it's leaves and the last one in February with last year's leaves gone and new buds showing up.  That is the common cycle here in the desert.

  12. Excellent, Sharon. I like seeing photos of the same scene (or tree) in different seasons and weather. Putting them together was a good idea for the "transitions" theme.

  13. Slipping back in now and then despite my self-imposed hiatus. Just saw Judy's theme post for today; I guess you two really are related and on the same wave length! Nature's transitions are a a good place to see tis important change.
