I went to my local Whole Foods store on Friday and was greeted with a very huge pile of beautifully shaped pumpkins. Something tells me it's October! I wonder how many of these will be carved into ghoulish works of art before the end of the month arrives.
I have a new post on
Sharon's Sojourns today. From my recent visit to London, one of the small things that drew my attention.
I'm impressed at how nicely-shaped these are. We've got pumpkins everywhere, too. But I am looking forward to some pumpkin pie. It always tastes better in the fall!
ReplyDeleteCan you believe we just had pumpkin soup for dinner Sharon, that's the only carving of pumpkins I intend to do in October ☺☺
ReplyDeleteI've had pumpkin pie this week - love it!
ReplyDeleteI don't think i have ever had anything pumpkin. But this makes for a good photo.
ReplyDeleteI always wonder what happens to all those left over pumpkins. I hope they get used for something.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment on Ocala. LOL!
ReplyDeleteThere are lots of them at stores here as well now.
ReplyDeleteColor and pattern, perfect composition. There has to be something like this around here. All I need is the time to find it.
ReplyDeleteExcellent. Nothing says fall like pumpkins!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo, Sharon, they are very photogenic.
ReplyDeleteThey are appearing everywhere here too
ReplyDeleteNice pumpkin composition. Great color and all of them are round. The kind I like!
