I found this rusty old folding chair inside the dressing room of a shop at Scottsdale Fashion Square. It's a kind of unusual thing to find in a dressing room but, I liked it. I think it would look great out in a meadow somewhere. Now that would really make a great photo. Just a lone rusty chair in the middle of green meadow with a scattering of wildflowers around it.
Funny how I imagine where it has come from - an old factory with smashed windows and puddles around it and graffiti on the walls!
ReplyDeleteYour mind is on the right track.
ReplyDeleteLooks very old...
ReplyDeleteIt makes a great photo even there in the dressing room! It definitely has character. :)
ReplyDeleteStuff like this is very trendy at the moment
ReplyDeleteI can see it in a trendy shop!
ReplyDeleteI think Christine got the true picture of where this thing came from. Would you want to sit on that chair wearing a brand new pair of white jeans? :) But, perhaps you can find your meadow and take your picture...it would make a great wall hanging!
ReplyDeleteIt looks suitably distressed, as the expression goes.
ReplyDeleteSeems strange to be in a shop in Scottsdale Fashion Square. That's pretty high cotton country, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteI love it too! I think I might put it on my porch with a couple of flower pots on it.
ReplyDeleteI agree with your comments and I find it unusual to see this kind of chair in a fitting room.
ReplyDeleteI can picture it better in a meadow or garden with wildflowers than in a dressing room. Rather odd... was it a "vintage" shop?
ReplyDeleteVery distressing.....or distressed....or is it called shabby chic?
