These two buildings couldn't be more different. On the left is the Orpheum Theatre which opened it's doors in 1929. On the right is the huge AT&T/Century Link facility with the tall microwave towers on top. The two buildings sit across the street from each other in downtown Phoenix.
The Grid rental bikes blend right in with that Century Link logo!

My how tastes change! You captured the contrast so well!
Great capture. I'd forgotten that AT&T was now connected with Century Link. I long for the days of Southwestern Bell and real phones in houses. :)
I love these contrasts, two different worlds in one picture...
I prefer the 1920s building. But I guess they both have their appeal!
That is a big contrast! I love the old Orpheum building. The one on the right...not so much.
Quite a radical contrast. I prefer the Orpheum!
The Orpheum building is so lovely, Sharon!
Great photographs, Sharon.
It seems that just about everything in our lives offer some petty amazing contrasts, esp architecture. I appreciate both buildings for different reasons.
