Over the weekend, I found another Paradise Valley Lion guarding the gate to a property.
In fact, there were two of them.
Just look at the snarling face on that lion. He looks like he means business.
I also saw this devilishly colorful pig sitting pretty on a fence post at another location.
I never know what I might find driving around the curvy foothills streets of Paradise Valley.
I have always giggled at lion sculptures on private property. . . seems so ostentatious, but the pig is delightful.
ReplyDeleteThe lion on the first photo looks really fierce !
ReplyDeleteAnd then there are two ! brrr...
That's quite a contrast in fierceness Sharon 😃
ReplyDeleteFaux lions seem to me such a waste of energy! The pig is good because it's a feel-good ornament and brightens up the area. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat pretty colours on that pig!
ReplyDeleteThe pig is wonderful! I'd visit those people!
ReplyDeleteHa! I love the pig. If I had a gate, I'd put a big in charge of guarding it.
ReplyDeleteI love lions in real life, but lion statues always seem a bit pretentious. But, that pig? It is about as far from pretentious as one can get.
