Happy Earth Day!

Today is Earth Day so I thought I'd post a photo of one of Mother Nature's lacy beauties.  This plant's technical name is Sambucas Mexicana but it's sometimes called Elderberry or blue elderberry.

  3. I'll stick with elderberry! Very pretty. I knew there was a reason I was reading Sierra magazine today!

  6. I celebrated Earth Day by driving to work yet again. But Sunday is the big Earth Day festival in Forest Park. It's a photographer's banquet.

  7. We have elderberry here, too. I've always wondered if it's the same kind. Could an elderberry from England really be the same as an elderberry in Arizona? (Or in Florida, for that matter, where they also grew.)
