Food Court
I was at the Scottsdale Fashion Square mall late in the afternoon and looking down on the almost empty food court, I liked the pattern of all those empty tables and chairs. At lunch time, it's almost impossible to find a seat.
Does make a good image Sharon, it's the same thing here, lunchtime is crazy busy, the rest of the time not so much! P.s. I know what you mean about housing prices, 30 years ago we paid 45 thousand for our house, now with a bit of luck when we sell it'll be worth closer 700 thou! Crazy right!
You have a great photographic eye...for composition, color ... the whole ball game! I took a shot similar to this at DisneyWorld in 1986 at one of the food courts. Each table had colorful umbrellas though. It's still one of my favorite photos. Thanks for comment on L & L. That is much appreciated!
I really like the scattered white and orange on the grey backdrop...

Sounds like it is a good time to go and eat
ReplyDeleteNice one Sharon. It does make an interesting pattern.
ReplyDeleteLunchtime and weekends tend to be very busy in food courts here. Good vantage point for the shot.

ReplyDeleteYeah, it does look like a pattern.
ReplyDeleteI like the patterns the orange chairs make, Sharon!
ReplyDeleteOne of the joys of retirement: you can eat any time you want!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful picture, Sharon !
ReplyDeleteThe orange chairs perk up the scene.
