This little shopping and office complex is located in Old Town Scottsdale and is constructed of adobe brick. Makes sense since it's called "El Adobe". It's a small group of businesses, an art studio and a salon and a lovely little garden in the center. It doesn't get much more southwestern than this place.
All you need is some gut in a sombrero snoozing by the door
ReplyDeleteGreat with all that green.
ReplyDeleteLovely framed image. Remember buildings like this when I visited Phoenix years ago.
ReplyDeleteLove all the greenery. Looks very welcoming!
ReplyDeleteLove the green and the bricks.
ReplyDeleteCactus out in the garden. To me that is very exotic.
ReplyDeleteI always feel like I'm sunbathing when I read your blog. :)
ReplyDeleteThis is very nice...I wonder how old it is. I remember main street in old town Scottsdale (actually, I think that's all there was to Scottsdale back then....there was a barber shop and butcher shop side by side...and a big theater further up the road.
ReplyDeleteThat's a wonderfully warming photo!
ReplyDeleteEspecially with all those cacti!
ReplyDeleteAnd your pic makes it look beautiful, Sharon!
ReplyDeleteI really like this!
ReplyDeleteLovely framing. I don't think I remember seeing any adobe bricks. Or maybe I didn't notice...
ReplyDeleteWhat a charming place. It does look nice and warm.
ReplyDeleteA great place for shops and to shop!
ReplyDeleteThis is so typical Arizona to me - miss it very much.
