Jolly Old Cactus

I found this rather jolly cactus out in north Scottsdale.

It's got lights and it's got Santa and Elf hats.  That cactus is ready for the festivities to begin.

  8. Not a plant that one would think of as innately Christmasey, but it works!

  9. Ha! I have never been in the Southwest for Christmas. So, this is how Christmas is celebrated among the cacti.

  10. Wonderfully imaginative people live there. I have decorated my neighbors lions for the past seven years, adding hats, wreaths, antlers, etc in the dead of night. I have a feeling that they might have guessed by now who the "culprit elf" is.
