This colorful tree sitting next to the equally colorful Saguaro Hotel in Scottsdale looks like it's bursting with fall color.
But on closer inspection what looks like red leaves turns out to be red berries. I think this might be a Brazilian Pepper Tree.
I would say you're 100% correct Sharon. Have just been reading that in some countries it's considered an invasive species but at the same time bees love it, so that can't be a bad thing :)
ReplyDeleteI think the colors are wonderful! And I love the different hues on the hotel.
ReplyDeleteWhen those of us who live in the south see color on a tree in the fall, we must never question our eyes...enjoy! :) It's stunning!
ReplyDeleteI remember one year searching for autumn leaves in Phoenix. There were very few! I'll bet birds have a heyday with these berries!
ReplyDeleteSo many hues of the same colors!
ReplyDeleteWow its bright and colourful in your city. Grey as usual here.
ReplyDeleteNice find and it works well with the colors on the hotel.
ReplyDeleteSuch a cheerful color!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tree and I love the hotel too!
ReplyDeleteI hope the birds like the berries! My dad has been in the hospital so I Haven't been able to check out any post but your Thanksgiving looks like it was great!
ReplyDeleteThe building seems to have a hot pepper theme to go with it.
ReplyDeleteFabulous colours!
ReplyDeleteThey are pretty!
ReplyDeleteThat tree really looks great with the hotel. Brazilian pepper is an invasive species in many places, but maybe in the Southwest, where there's not a lot of water, it can't spread without irrigation...?
ReplyDeleteYeah! That is colorful. Love it.
