I was sitting next to this truck at a traffic light when I noticed those wheels! It looks like something out of a James Bond movie don't you think? I was happy when the light changed so I could zoom away from him before he could press a button and fired them at me.
Perhaps 'Mad Max' has moved to Phoenix!
ReplyDeleteWe see a lot of these here in Texas. I always have the same feeling you did - get away fast!
ReplyDeleteDoing 'wheelies' today?
ReplyDeleteThe film "Ben Hur (1959)" comes in mind :)
ReplyDeleteYou are very observant! And smart. Varooom!
ReplyDeleteThose rigs are good to avoid!
ReplyDeleteOh you made me laugh out loud Sharon, I can just imagine the scene :)
ReplyDeleteLol!!! I'm glad I've never seen anything like this here. The lanes can be so narrow that I'm sure he would cause damage in Paris!
ReplyDeleteI wonder what he thought as you were photographing them!
ReplyDeleteI though of the chariots from Ben Hur too!
ReplyDeleteMad Max comes to mind for me.
ReplyDeleteAgain: Mad Max is over there...
ReplyDeleteI would have done the same thing! Those things look scary.
ReplyDeleteObviously meant to be intimidating. The owner or driver must have some self-confidence issues.
ReplyDeleteI would have to say Mad Max too.
ReplyDeleteRight title! I can only imagine the driver's proudness!
ReplyDeleteCool that would deter someone getting too close
ReplyDeleteYeah, they DO look scary!
ReplyDeleteAnd the red-orange fender? This is a man who pays a lot of attention to his truck.
ReplyDeleteJames Bond like indeed! :-)
