Another one of our many Phoenix Birds today. I'll bet that many people who live here don't even realize that this is a depiction of that famous mythical bird. It's a very modern, stylized version that sits in front of a high-rise office building on Central Avenue.
The reflection really captures the essence of the phoenix!

ReplyDeleteYou are right. I would not have caught the symbolism, but once you pointed it out I could see some sense of a mythical bird rising. A cool photo, Sharon, with the reflected shadows and the somewhat threatening sky.,
