Another one of our many Phoenix Birds today. I'll bet that many people who live here don't even realize that this is a depiction of that famous mythical bird. It's a very modern, stylized version that sits in front of a high-rise office building on Central Avenue.

You are right. I would not have caught the symbolism, but once you pointed it out I could see some sense of a mythical bird rising. A cool photo, Sharon, with the reflected shadows and the somewhat threatening sky.,
Love the shot, Sharon! Would probably not have seen the bird if you hadn't mentioned it but now it looks so obvious!
