I found this house in a nearby East Phoenix neighborhood and I was struck by the symmetrical landscaping design. Up against the house on this side is a neat row of fence-post cactus, all the same height.
From this angle you can see the neat row of barrel cactus and an equally neat row of agave plants in the front. There is nothing random about the placement of these desert plants.
It certainly all looks very neat and tidy!
ReplyDeleteSomeone has put in a lot of work to get this right! :)
ReplyDeleteNeat and lovely, but I wonder if they needed a bit more creativity...
ReplyDeleteSo important to the visual appeal.
ReplyDeleteNicely taken care of. The barrel cacti are very unusual to my eyes.
ReplyDeleteAmazing work.
ReplyDeleteI like the symmetry but I must admit that's all in these pictures. :-)
ReplyDeleteA little bit of OCD in action there. It does look good, Sharon!
ReplyDeleteRedPat's got it. OCD. It just looks too perfect and even barren to me!
ReplyDeleteLooks nice.
ReplyDeleteThis landscaping style is SO different from both Hartford and Naples.
ReplyDeleteThis is a little too "perfect" for me. I like a garden that is a bit untidy, or at least seems that way!
ReplyDeleteI think it very wise to place the plants in a bed of gravel otherwise trimming around them could be a bit prickly, or am I too Midwestern in landscaping habits?
ReplyDeleteHaha! I wonder if the occupants are as tidy inside as they are out Sharon :)
