I found this in a craft store and couldn't resist taking a photo of it.
All that glisters is not gold
Often have you heard that told
Many a man his life hath sold
But my outside to behold....
William Shakespeare (The Merchant of Venice)
I have a new post on Sharon's Sojourns today. I'm having a "supreme" experience.
Sparkly!
ReplyDeleteI was starting to feel jealous already comparing your picture to the ones I took yesterday of sunflowers...
ReplyDeleteThe quote is perfect for your take.
Really very pretty for a fake flower. And I did not know that the original quote was "glisters" rather than "glitters"! (I was never a fan of Shakespeare!)
ReplyDeleteAlthough I prefer nature's art, I would be pleased to own this lovely!
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful! Lovely interpretation of a beautiful flower...
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness that is so pretty and I thought it was real!
ReplyDeleteThat old Willie had a way with words. I would have clicked my camera once here too.
ReplyDeleteQuite pretty!
ReplyDeleteWhat were you doing in a craft store? I would have taken that home with me because I'm sure I wouldn't have had my camera with me.
ReplyDeleteIt is really quite lovely, Sharon! Even if it isn't real! ;-)
ReplyDeleteNice one, Sharon.
ReplyDeleteIt looks so real!
