This office building is located very close to where I live and I pass it almost every day. It suddenly occurred to me that it might make and interesting photo with all those stripes running around the building.
This is what the whole building looks like. It's located in the area known as the Camelback Corridor. It's the city's 3rd "downtown" or business area. The high-rise buildings aren't quite as tall as they are downtown or in the midtown business district but, they are still good sized office buildings.
Like a giant present wrapped in ribbon!
ReplyDeleteThat's a great looking building.

More like the Zebraback Corridor!
ReplyDeleteAnd the vertical columns around the entryway make for a nice complement.
ReplyDeleteLaughing at Steve's comment!
It's a majestic building, Sharon.
ReplyDeleteA rather stylish building which should not have any problem blending with surroundings.
ReplyDeleteI've flown into Phoenix a couple of times. It has a unique look from the air. Like it's plopped in the middle of the desert. Gotta look closer... never got a good look at the skyline and the highrisers.
ReplyDeleteNo one told them that horizontal stripes make a building look fat.
ReplyDeleteBut really, it's a nice looking building. The stripes/windows give it an interesting look.
Love the building, but I'm afraid if I was driving down Central Avenue and glanced at this I'd get dizzy and run into one of the royal palms!
ReplyDeleteThe building stands out so well- very photogenic!
ReplyDeleteThey might not be as appealing as the older architecture Sharon, but as you say they can provide fab contoured and reflective images.. well spotted here.
ReplyDeleteIt's quite nice, Sharon. I'm sitting here in a striped shirt with the same colours!
ReplyDeleteAnd that corridor is a great place to have a dining experience.
ReplyDeleteThat looks a bit like a traditional French fisherman's shirt, lol. That's the first thing that came to mind!!! Cool building!
ReplyDeleteVery striped! Funny how you can look at something every day and then finally SEE it. ;)
ReplyDeleteNice reflection too.
ReplyDeleteVery cool, great shots!
ReplyDeleteTerrific patterns!
