I think I've posted a photo of this place before but, it's such a cute little place that I thought it deserved another shout out. Cheese and Stuff is a tiny little deli with only one or two tables inside so most people take their sandwiches to go. And, oh boy, what delicious sandwiches they are. I've gotten several over the years and I've enjoyed every single one. I think the corned beef on rye is my favorite.
My husband always loved the Boar's Head deli meats when we lived in the US. This sounds like a great place and probably reasonably priced too!
ReplyDeleteI would patronize this place often as I do love sandwiches and we sometimes stop to pick up a couple for supper on our way home from a day out and about. (I'm not sure that sentence makes sense...but it's still kinda early!)
ReplyDeleteI hadn't thought of this place in such a long time. It was very near where I lived in Phoenix. I'm glad it's still there. My favorite was the meatball sandwich.
ReplyDeleteThis is my kind of place... cheese and all kind of other stuff too. Pile it on!
ReplyDeleteThey have a cool sign on top too!
ReplyDeleteOn lord that sounds good Sharon, I'm on a low carb diet and it's been a while since I had any kind of sandwich :)
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like the sort of place that pretty much makes up the bulk of my food here.
ReplyDeleteI love a good corned beef on rye but haven't had one in years.
ReplyDeleteYou just made my stomach growl!
ReplyDeleteNow...ummm... sorry I'm not too sure what Boar's Head meats are. You see, I love to eat wild boar but I've never tried the head yet...
ReplyDeleteYou had me at Corned Beef and Rye.....
ReplyDeleteCheese and Stuff! There was a small, local natural food store near here for ten years or so, but it shut down quite a while ago. I liked it. The places that followed in that space have been lousy.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe it's still there.
ReplyDeleteLove the sign!
ReplyDeleteSandwiches are not my food of choice, but my DH would love this place!
ReplyDeleteThat is completely great. I would photograph that place too! It would be nice to catch it at a time when it's closed, so there are no cars out front.
