It's still spring in Phoenix and I'm enjoying seeing the palo verde blooms all around town. There are quite a few palo verde trees lining the streets downtown which makes a good opportunity to take another shot of a high-rise building through the branches of a blooming tree.
I'd like to see the view from one of those top floor balconies!
ReplyDeleteThe last time you showed us the wonderful Palo Verde trees I meant to Google and see if we can grow them here Sharon, will do so right now :) The penthouse up there must have an excellent view!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like maybe the blooms are fading a bit. Are they at the end of their blooming cycle?
ReplyDeleteNatural creations and human constructions, always a fascinating comparison !
ReplyDeletePretty building! Office or residential? Either/or it would be spectacular to look out from one of the higher floors.
ReplyDeleteNice shot. I hear that today will be the first temp of 100 this year for Phoenix. We are going to be in the low 80's.
ReplyDeleteI like this one against the condos.
ReplyDeleteExcellent composition, Sharon!
ReplyDeleteThat's quite an apartment building! Downtown, too! Beautifully composed and shot. Did you use a polarizer? That sky is so dark blue. Love it.
ReplyDeleteThank you, too, for your very generous comment this morning. You made my day!
Hi! I just found your blog through a comment you left on Good Fences (about Petticoat Junction) and popped in. I just became a Follower. It would be neat if you could add a Follow By E-Mail feature to your blog so people could get updates via e-mail when you post. Have a great day. I enjoyed stopping by your blog.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great shot, Sharon! And what a sky!
ReplyDeleteThat's a super shot of the stark, modern building with the sweet delicacy of the spring colours!
ReplyDeletePretty blooms and I like the modern look of that building.
ReplyDeleteAll our spring flowers are gone. Strange since you are a a good deal farther south and in a much hotter climate.
ReplyDeleteNice composition Sharon.
