While walking around in Carefree on Sunday, I discovered this little place called the English Rose Tearoom. It was the British flag out front that made me check it out.
The place had some very cute decorations around starting with this old bicycle out front with the flower display in it's basket.
But, it was all the teapots and cups hanging from the chandelier that really caught my eye. I didn't stop for tea myself. I just stopped to snap a few pictures. However, there were lots of people inside enjoying tea with all the trimmings.
I'm always up for a cup of tea and cake, do they do afternoon tea, well worth having one if they do. They forgot to put the brakes back on the bike when they restored it.
ReplyDeleteThere is always the unexpected to be found any place you go, this English Rose Tearoom is the perfect example.
ReplyDeleteThat's a very quaint looking place, a piece of England in Toronto!
ReplyDeleteHow could you resist tea in this funky little place?!
ReplyDeleteAlways time for a cuppa :) Aimee has a wind-chime that looks a lot like your chandelier here Sharon.
ReplyDeleteFunny to think of British tea with all the trimmings -- in Arizona!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a fun place. I like the decorations.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a tea drinker but I'd love to have one of those English tea sets.
ReplyDeleteQuite an inviting place!
ReplyDeleteYou will have to go back for a bit if a taste of England, Sharon!
ReplyDeleteAs you know go for java over tea, but I really must say the hanging teapots is a winner for me. Tea Time!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute little tea shop. I like that chandelier too!
ReplyDeleteYou cant beat a good cup of tea, no matter where you are in the world.
ReplyDeleteLove this! A cuppa, a scone, some clotted cream and a dash of strawberry jam will do nicely, tar very much.
ReplyDeleteWere there scones with clotted cream? I'd stop there, if those were part of the trimmings! :)
ReplyDeleteTea and crumpets, maybe?
ReplyDeleteThis looks great, Sharon, and it reminds me that a few weeks ago I took some photos at an English tea shop. I need to see if I took any decent photos.
ReplyDeleteI'll take a London Fog!
ReplyDeleteI like the details, Sharon !
ReplyDeleteVery nice (and cozy) place!
