I just wanted to follow up that "prickly" heart from yesterday with a soft red rose. This one was growing at the botanical garden and it's labeled a cherry bomb rose. I think it lives up to it's name.
I have a new post on
Sharon's Sojourns today. I'm remembering a trip to New Orleans.
A real explosion of red!
ReplyDeletePerfect shot and it indeed is a contrast from yesterday's post.
ReplyDeleteI can smell the scent through the screen!

Very pretty! A red rose is a classic
ReplyDeleteSoft and creamy looking.
ReplyDeleteRoses always remind me of Grandma's rose garden. Her roses won quite a few prizes at the garden club.
ReplyDeleteIt's so nice to see roses in February!
ReplyDeleteI can never decide which colour of roses I like best. They are all so beautiful as your pic shows, Sharon.
ReplyDeleteLove the rose, and the cactus too! Nice contrast. :)
ReplyDeleteA perfect red rose!
ReplyDeletePerfect?
ReplyDeleteAlmost.
Every rose has its thorns.
In LOVE there ain't no perfect path. No way.
Marvelous color.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty!
ReplyDeleteThen I would keep a safe distance. Nice contrast over the last two days.
ReplyDeleteEven before I read your words I thought how different this beautiful rose was from yesterday's image.. Too gorgeous.
