What is that roadrunner doing on the patio table? Looking for handouts of course. And a few of the guests at the Desert Botanical Garden were obliging.
I sure hope those potato chips and bread crusts won't upset his tummy. However, I think a bird whose main diet consists of lizards probably has a strong stomach.
I'm sure he is more than happy to accept anything that comes his way, great shots!
ReplyDeleteHa! The pigeons of the West. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat portrait of this unique bird !
ReplyDeleteTerrific photos of my "Beep beep" friend. Got to say he's pretty smart knowing right where the food is to be found!
ReplyDeleteA roadrunner with a taste for junk food.. Never mind he'll soon run that off:) Super clear captures Sharon.
ReplyDeleteWhat a stunning bird - such interesting patterns! great photos!! (Still thinking of the cartoons though...)
ReplyDeleteGreat picture of him!

He would probably rather have a lizard. Nice shots!
ReplyDeleteIf he can handle lizards, he won't have problems with that, just as long as it doesn't become a habit. He looks quite distinctive.
ReplyDeleteI love these guys, Sharon! I'd eat the chips too. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI've never tried lizard... :-) Beautiful captures of a little star!
ReplyDeleteStunning close-up. Good show!
ReplyDeleteFascinating! I could watch that bird all day.
ReplyDeleteLove the second shot.
ReplyDeleteI love these odd looking birds. Great photos, Sharon.
ReplyDeleteI love roadrunners. I loved seeing them a lot when I used to live in Tucson and Alamogordo, NM.
