Rainy day..
It rained all night Wednesday night and most of the day yesterday but by the afternoon the rain had stopped and the clouds started parting. Those waves of clouds make for some nice effects over the top of Camelback Mountain.
Lovely. "Waves of clouds" is a great phrase. When we lived in Scottsdale, Lois' grandmother (then in her 70s) came to visit and she wanted to climb Camelback. She made it part way up.
That is a pretty one! It started raining here on Tuesday night and didn't stop until Thursday afternoon! A nice quiet rain that soaked into the parched earth.
A beautiful view. I love the color in this shot, very subdued.
ReplyDeletePretty! I think we sent the way your way (I'm in San Diego). It was nice to hear the rain, something we hadn't heard for awhile.

I love looking at mountains... even the small one. We just don't have any around here.
ReplyDeleteThat's a very relaxing looking view, and sky!
ReplyDelete"Print it, Dano!"

ReplyDeleteQuite a beautiful view!
ReplyDeleteI imagine you were happy for the rain! Super shot, Sharon.
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't look rainy at all!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful photo. Gorgeous sky and I love how the mountain is silhouetted against it!
ReplyDeleteLovely shot Sharon.
ReplyDeleteDoes it rain a lot at this time of the year out your way Sharon?
ReplyDeleteIndeed. Quite a view!
ReplyDeleteI feel like I am seeing an old friend here. Gives me a nice feeling when I am zillions of miles away here in England.
ReplyDeleteLove the subtle shading in this photo. Artful!
