I love these oversized ornaments I saw hanging in a yard near my house. They convey the Holiday spirit without all the flickering lights.
They were scattered all around the yard of this home.
A gentle reminder that it's that time of year when we celebrate friends and family.
Your first picture says it all! It fits so well the exterior.
ReplyDeleteSubtle and tasteful!
ReplyDeleteNo flickering lights? Yes, but can you see them in the dark? How would you know it's Xmas if it's night?
ReplyDeleteJust kidding. They're unique in my experience and kinda cute!
I have a crabapple tree in my front yard that I usually decorate with medium size red balls. Very festive, but it got too cold too early to decorate the tree this year. Looks pretty barren. I still silently and anonymously decorate my neighbors two lions at their front door. I often wonder if they have figured out who the "friendly elf" is every year who decorates in the dead of night?!
ReplyDeleteIf you don't have the right kind of tree, decorate the kind of tree you have! Looks nice. I hope you don't get a big wind.
ReplyDeleteThat red one's a real beauty!
ReplyDeleteI like the look.
ReplyDeleteStylish, pretty, subdued, I'm with you.
ReplyDeleteHere they would get stolen.
Christmas and Arizona just seem weirdly incongruous to me. But then, I guess a lot of people feel that way about Christmas and Florida, too.
ReplyDeleteIt cheers up the whole neighbourhood I bet!
ReplyDeleteI love them.
ReplyDeleteI appreciate the people who give the gift of Christmas decorations to their neighbors and the strangers who pass by.
ReplyDeleteI AM a robot. Can I still post comments on your blog?
