Auto Plaza

I pass by this place quite often and I've always admired the building which looks like an old hacienda style home but, in the past the front has been so obscured with cars that it wasn't worth trying to get a photo.  Then the other day I passed it and not a car was in site.  I hope that means they've sold them all and business is booming.  :-)  When I saw the coast was clear, I pulled in to get a photo.  It certainly looks more like a home than a business establishment.  Put in a nice desert landscaped yard and there you have it.

  2. It has the Spanish style, that's for sure. I'll bet it was a home at some point in the past.
I'll also bet that Kenly went out of business.

  3. I do like that yellow color and the contrast with the red window frames. I also hope this business hasn't gone under. We don't need more of that...

  6. You said it, it doesn't look like a garage at all! Love the symmetry!

  9. I hate the idea of it being a cheap car lot. Sorry.

  10. Hey, there's vigas on this building. I wonder if they are in the interior too..

  12. Maybe they're resurfacing the parking lot?

I hate cars in pictures. (Unless it's a cool or unusual car and thus the subject of the photo.) For me, a huge factor in deciding which buildings and shops to photograph is what's parked (or not parked) in front!
